Camping

We went camping this weekend at William O'Brien state park, near Stillwater. It was the first time we'd camped in over four years, and I felt so excited. Jeremy filled up the car and did all of the food prep work, I made lists. Overall, we had a great time. Pity it POURED Friday night, but luckily the tent did not leak. The mattress, however, developed a leak and my back is now killing me.
We got home today at around 2 pm, to find that Squeak had binged on all of his food and water, ate a rubber band, and threw up in nearly every single room in the house. Welcome home! Plus, the ants that live in our floorboards discovered the pile of puke in the dining room, and a cluster of about two hundred ants were having a smorgasboard. More ant deaths on my karma. When will the horror end??
He shunned us the first few hours until Jeremy brought him in the bedroom, where we all laid like heavy sacks for two hours. He's asleep on the office chair now, acting as if nothing happened. Ah, my beloved neurotic, freaky assed cat.
Full of mosquito bites, I return to work tomorrow to hire 3 students and continue crunching numbers on my budget. It's hard to be a manager!
