From Halloween

This year we went to the 13th annual Barebones Festival, held at Hidden Falls near the Mississippi River in St. Paul. Unfortunately for us, it was FREEZING that day, and despite three layers of clothing, our toes and faces and hands were numb by the end of the night. On the bright side, the production, based on Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death," was very creative and fun, with acrobats, singers, a live orchestra, masks, puppets (including a giant twenty foot irridescent whale), fire eaters, fire throwers and fire outfits. Because it was the last day, we got to keep our masks, too.

The masks we chose from.

FIRE!!!!!
